Chladni plate is used to observe the influence of an object's geometri on resonance mechanical vibration pattern of a two dimensional object. The centre of the rectangular or the circular anodized plate is vibrated by a vibration generator, fine salt is spread on the plate. The salt will vibrate and retreating the anti-node of the plate and get togther in the node point. The pattern formed is the standing wave pattern which is related to one harmonic frequency of the Chaldni Plate.

The set is consisting of a rectangular Chladni plate made of anodized alumium plate, size of 20 x 20 cm and a 20 cm disc.

It is necessary to use an Audio Frequncy Generator (FAL 25) and a VIbration Generator (FAL 29) to perform the experiment.
